One Mover Takes the Housing Market Troubles into Their Own Hands

Nov. 6, 2008 - PRLog -- Wilkes Barre, PA – Bekins A-1 Movers, Inc., a 19 location nationwide moving and storage company, has partnered with The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) the Trade Association for Professional Home Stagers with it’s Clear the Clutter™ program during the associations Home Staging Awareness Month.

The Clear the Clutter™ program is designed to help home sellers temporarily purge a home of the personal items that make any house a home without interfering with the homeowner’s daily life.  According to USA Today, residence with less personal “clutter” sell for 6.3% more and 41 days faster on average than those that don’t de-clutter.  During the Clear the Clutter™ process homeowners, stagers, or agents, simply supply a brief verbal description of the items planned for removal.  The Bekins A-1 team will then pack all the “clutter” into boxes, and move them along with any required furniture also securely storing all the goods while the home is then staged, listed, and sold.  

As part of Home Staging Awareness Month, Bekins A-1 is participating in round table meetings in various cities around the country presenting professional stagers, real estate agents, and home sellers with a visibly easier and less expensive option to professionally pack, remove, and store those unneeded goods during the staging and selling process.
