High School Football Stars Named UncleFootball.com’s National Players Of The Week

Nov. 11, 2008 - PRLog -- Dominique Barnes of John Burroughs High School in Burbank, CA has been chosen as UncleFootball.com’s national football Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the 2008 football season.  Three other student-athletes across the nation have been chosen based on their stellar performances in their respective regions - Erick Howard of Hoover High School in North Canton, OH is the Midwest Region Player of the Week, Jordan Hall of Jeannette High School in Jeannette, PA is the East Player of the Week, and for the Southern region, Leon High School’s Austin Dantin of Tallahassee, FL.

Barnes, the star running back for Burbank’s John Burroughs Indians, has lead his team to a winning season with his powerful running skills and flashy style. Barnes can be seen scoring multiple rushing touchdowns against rival Hoover High School of Glendale, CA on UncleFootball.com’s video section.  Photos of the other Players of the Week selections can also be seen on the website by clicking on the “Players of the Week” button located on the football homepage or by searching the player’s names or team’s names.
