Chapel Hill (November 19, 2008)  – Seeking to connect generations of family members, new company Digi Time Capsule, LLC launched the “Digi Time Capsule®” product line.  This innovative digital time capsule software allows users to actively record their important life journey’s through the senses of the experience; sight, sound & hearing.
Founder Sherri Morris found inspiration from a wealth of saved items and memories from her own 3 children.  “I wanted a way to pass on the first steps, fine artwork and funny moments to my children”, she says.  Morris created the Digi Time Capsule® product to give renewed life to the current static idea of the family tree.  
Each Time Capsule product is based on a user-friendly USB drive and comes with a keep-sake tin and slide box for safe storage.  Automated product software, that does not have to be downloaded, includes hundreds of fun questions, quizzes and features that allow users to detail their thoughts and emotions.  The Digi Time Capsule® line allows the user to upload their photos, songs, videos, documents, and audio messages that capture their journey.  At the conclusion of each time capsule, users can create a single movie file of their entire journey, which automatically combines the music and photos and can be shared through social network sites, personal websites and written to CD.
Each Digi Time Capsule® product also looks forward, allowing you to write letters for the future, predict costs and imagine what you think the future will be for yourself and your children.  “One day your children and grand-children will look at your time capsule and be able to read all about the world they were born into and be able to see its magnificent changes. It is extremely important to me that my children, grandchildren and great grand children share in the lives of their descendants in a very interactive, tangible way.  I want to leave behind my laughter, tears, hopes, fears, accomplishments and wisdom.” Morris says.
Purchasing a Digi Time Capsule® product not only ties families tighter, but also the world around us.  Each product will have a specific charity attached to it and each charity will reflect the spirit of the product line. When consumers purchase a Digi Time Capsule® product, a  portion of their purchase goes directly to the charity, in the name of the consumer or retailer.  
The Digi Time Capsule® line begins with newly released My Pregnancy and followed by My Baby Book and will expand to include 15-20 time capsule products.  Additional Digi Time Capsule® Time Capsule  products to be released include My Wedding, My Family, My School Year (Pre-K thru 8), High School Years, College Years, A Mother’s, A Father’s, My Grandchildren, My BFF’s, Homeowners Records, My Pets and My Journal, among others.
