Parkview Nurses to Hold Rally for Union Contract

Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi, nurses and local politicians Call on Parkview administration to stop stalling nurses’ first contract
 
Dec. 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Riverside, CA – Parkview nurses who are members of United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals (UNAC/UHCP) are holding a rally on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 10 a.m. to protest the stalling tactics of Parkview Community Hospital administration in finalizing the nurses’ first union contract. Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi will join Parkview nurses, local politicians and union leaders in calling on Parkview administration to stop stalling and negotiate a fair contract that safeguards the hospital as a vital community resource.
