Amir Yusoff Added to the Star Studded Line up at 1Borneo’s New Year Entertainment Bash

Dec. 22, 2008 - PRLog -- 1Borneo announce the addition of two acts to the 1Borneo’s New Year Bash entertainment lineup. Adding to the star studded cast at the New Year’s Eve party is award-winning singer/songwriter, musician and voice talent Amir Yusoff.

Amir Yusoff is no stranger to the music scene. Although his musical career has been a rollercoaster ride, today he boasts 3 solo albums, Anugerah Industri Musik (Malaysia’s equivalent to the Grammy Awards) for Best English Album of the Year in 1996 as well as the admiration and respect as a creative and non-conventional artist.

A performer for the last 20 years, Amir’s repertoire consists of originals and original covers. Guests at 1Borneo Ballroom will be enthralled by his performance which will be backed up by a 6 member band, Morbius on December 31 which will kick off from 9pm until 2am.

The New Year’s Eve bash in 1Borneo Ballroom will also feature Malaysia’s favourite DJs from Hitz.FM morning crew, Rudy and JJ, who will serve as hosts for the evening’s festivities. They will also be joined by winners of Astro’s Hitz. TV Blast Off, Sabahan band ‘Andalusia’ and just for the nostalgia, Hollywood impersonators that will guarantee to tickle your funny bones.
