The National Defense Industrial Association Selects Arata Expositions as General Services Contractor

Jan. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) announces the selection of Arata Expositions, Inc. as the general service contractor for NDIA’s multiple expositions over the next three years with an additional two year option into 2013.

Arata Expositions has been working with NDIA for the past seven years, and bid along with several other general contractors for the multiyear contract.

Arata Expositions Inc. was founded in 1971 by Tom Arata Sr., President and CEO.  Under his guidance and expertise the company has continued to expand in the tradeshow industry.  Arata Expositions has two locations.  The corporate offices are located outside Washington, DC, and the second office is in Orlando, Florida.  Mr. Chris Healy, Vice President and General Manager, worked with NDIA prior to joining Arata Expositions, Inc. in 2004.  Chris Healy comments: “Arata Expositions, Inc. is thrilled to extend our contract through 2011 with the National Defense Industrial Association and their prestigious vendors in the defense contracting industry.  We are extremely proud to provide our services to those whose industry expertise is focused on protecting our great nation.”  Mr. Healy has twenty-three years of tradeshow experience and is familiar with producing events in large event venues nationwide, as well as second-tier cities.  Chris Healy, along with Brian Sturgis, National Sales Manager, will be the primary staff working with NDIA on all their expositions.
