ACS announces opening of new sales office in Japan and appoints Hiroyuki Shimada

Jan. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- Mr Shimada will coordinate all sales & marketing activities across ACS Japan and further assist in developing the company's Japan sales Strategy. He brings with him in-depth knowledge of the smart card and reader knowledge as well as corporate security services, particularly in the area of contactless and NFC (Near Field Communications) technology. Mr Hiroyuki Shimada joined ACS Japan as General Manager in December, 2008. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Machine Engineering from Aoyama Gakuin University, Japan. He has over two-decades' experience in the smart card industry. He used to work in CSK Holdings Group and Gemplus Japan Co., Ltd. (now Gemalto). In his new role, Mr Shimada will be responsible for ACS's strategic sales development in Japan.
