Michigan Windows Company Hansons Windows Lends a Hand to Metro Detroit Lung Cancer Walk

Jan. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Hansons Windows has always played a large role in supporting the community and local charities.  Here’s what the LUNGevity Foundation’s co-chairs had to say about our continued support:


Dear Brian,

On behalf of our co-chairpersons, Merle Schwartz, Allan Cohen and ourselves, we want to thank you for sponsoring the 2008 Metro-Detroit LUNGevity Walk.  Generous financial and in-kind sponsorship provided by 22 sponsors set the tone and established the base for our highly successful event.

Your commitment to the Walk, combined with the remarkable outpouring of support from participants and contributors, enabled us to surpass all of our goals.  It was our plan from the beginning to raise awareness and make a difference, and we feel that this has been accomplished.

It is with great pride that we share the “final numbers” - - 350 to 400 people attended the event, and to date, over $80,000, has been raised to support LUNGevity Foundation’s efforts to fund innovative lung cancer research.
