By: Steven Greenberg Tassleberry Farm is proud to announce “Tassleberry Farm Blueberry Vinegar” “Tassleberry Farm Blueberry Vinegar” is the newest addition to our line of homegrown products. Our unique consumer product line is made from our own locally grown strawberries that are processed and packaged at the farm and sold through ecommerce, specialty food stores, and festivals. Tassleberry Farm Blueberry Vinegar is “ALL NATURAL” and “Tastes As Good As It is Good For You” Fresh blueberries are set aside for a while with a vinegar starter and left alone to do what they do. The result is “Bold, Beneficial & Blue’, this vinegar is delicious. Combining unique recipes both homegrown and with the Culinary Institute of America the Tassleberry Farm product line offers gourmet quality and diversified products for salads, appetizers, spreads, meats, and dip at a fair price. Tassleberry Farm is a 138 acre fruit and corn farm located on Stop 7 Road in Westmoreland, New York. The farm has been family owned and operated since the early 1930’s and has been growing strawberries, blueberries, and sweet corn for more than 20 years. The farm produces an excellent quality and locally grown fresh product. As part of the “Pride of New York” program, a member of The Upstate New York Growers and Packers Co-op, and working with the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York the products appeal to locals, New Yorkers, as well as national and international consumers that can all be reached through an internet and ecommerce targeted marketing campaign. “Tassleberry Farm Blueberry Vinegar” is All Natural and made from fresh blueberries, vinegar and sugar and processed right at the farm. We grow it, package it, and sell it ourselves. Our berries are very well known in central New York as “sweet & delicious”. As “value added” to keep the family farm viable diversification into a gourmet product line has been both rewarding and a lot of hard work. Nothing is more fun or exhausting then giving out 2,500 samples a day at a garlic festival and selling $10,000.00 dollars in product in just two days. It all started with the Strawberry Vinegar both sweet & tangy and has been expanded to include a Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar, Strawberry Marinade, Strawberry Jamaican Jerk, Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette, Strawberry Salad Dressing and Vegetable Dip, Strawberry BBQ, Strawberry Butter and our latest addition “Tassleberry Farm Blueberry Vinegar”. The unique consumer product line is sold through e-commerce, specialty food stores and festivals. The products are developed using home grown family recipes and recipes from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York providing gourmet quality and diversified products for salads, meats and dips. The products appeal to a wide range of consumers locally, statewide, nationally and internationally who we reach through an internet and e-commerce targeted marketing campaign.
