Our mitigation strategies

Our decontamination process is usually in three phases. This includes (i) Pre-IAQ audit phase (ii) Bio-decontamination phase (iii) Post-IAQ audit and preventive measures phase.  

Pre-IAQ audit phase: This involves doing a baseline total IAQ audit for the entire building including speciation of petri plates and 24 hours relative humidity (RH) data logging during and off operational hours to confirm RH trending.

Bio-decontamination and mold remediation phase: The aim of this phase is to take control of the site bio-sphere and re-establish a controlled environment, safe for human occupation and reduce potential cross contamination. This involves bio-decontamination of indoor spaces and equipments, Air handling unit (AHU), crawl spaces and ducts. Bio-decontamination of indoor space surfaces and equipments is to reduce the level of existing contamination on all surfaces and minimizing the transmission of infection by indirect contact with surfaces contaminated with spilled, droplets or airborne contaminants. Relative humidity and Temperature will be controlled. The AHU, crawl spaces, indoor  spaces, and above ceiling spaces of the building will be cleaned (using robotic duct cleaning equipment mounted with a CCTV camera and a hand-held video camera) and “blown free” of dirt and microbial spores (under HEPA-filtered negative pressure). The bio-decontamination process involves fogging and surfaces treatment with durable and broad spectrum AEGIS Antimicrobial.  The durable aspects of the AEGIS Antimicrobial treatment will provide a barrier to mold regrowth. This will ensure stabilized building environment, cessations of building related illness (BRI), fresh environment free of fungal growth and stains.  

Post-IAQ audit and preventive measures phase: This phase involves doing post air sampling clearance tests and implementation of preventive maintenance program.
