March 4, 2009 - PRLog -- While widespread corporate cutbacks and bleak performance figures continue to afflict many businesses, ESM (http://www.education-sales.net), a student relationship management provider that helps  educational institutions increase enrollment and retention, is experiencing unprecedented growth and has added five new members to its executive team. The most recent addition is Marcy Suntken, who joins ESM as executive Vice President of Strategy and Account Planning.

Suntken is tasked with guiding and facilitating the development and execution of the client account plans within ESM’s Account Management department. Utilizing over 20 years of executive leadership experience in the education industry, Suntken will also work collaboratively with the executive team to identify and drive key ESM strategic initiatives in conjunction with the emerging needs and preferences of students, as well as the evolving market landscape. Additionally, Suntken will be focused on the development and subsequent launch of an innovative student retention solution.

Prior to joining ESM, Suntken served as president of Knowledge Learning Corporation’s (KLC) School Partnership division (formerly owned by Aramark). During her 16 year tenure with Aramark and KLC, Suntken played an instrumental role in multiple acquisitions that nearly doubled the annual revenue growth of her division. Suntken has dedicated her career to improving the education industry through school-centric service, and offers a wealth of experience in account management, strategic planning and operations.

Other recent industry veterans to join ESM’s executive team in the last six months include:

•   Ann Friedrich, Vice President of Account Management―Responsible for developing and growing strategic relationships among client institutions.
•   Terry Bate, Vice President of Client Services―Manages the revenue growth and overall strategic activities for a national account.
•   Mark Zahringer, Director of Operations―Develops and institutes standardized operations processes across all ESM operational teams.
•   Joe Bird & Kevin Reilly, Vice President of Enrollment Strategies―Drives awareness of ESM’s products and services, and establishes enduring relationships with educational institutions nationwide.

“The ESM executive team’s expertise and industry-savvy reflects our company’s commitment to results-driven, client-centric service,” explains Rick Fort, ESM founder and CEO. “Marcy, along with our other new management additions, brings passion and creativity to improve enrollment and retention in education. In conjunction with their unique experiences and unparalleled industry insight, each will contribute immeasurably to the success and growth of ESM.”
