A name is more than just a moniker.  Or simply a word to identify something.  It can also bring an entity to life.  Conjure up an array of thoughts, images, emotions, excitement and desire.

All successful entities remain so because they keep reinventing themselves.  Las Vegas has done this more than any other city in the country.  And the historic Commercial Center is a leader in implementing this philosophy.

Commercial Center was established in 1960.  No other Shopping center in Las Vegas has lasted near that long!  It is rich in heritage and we are happy to have a local treasure that is so vastly relevant to our past, present and future.  Many Eastern cities boast of their special attractions to both locals and tourists on a regular basis.  Las Vegas is such a new city relatively speaking that we just don’t have any other almost half a century old landmark.

They offer a wonderful blend of diverse businesses and cultures.  There are over 150 independent restaurants, shops, stores and establishments representing at least 15 different countries and languages.  They are quite an eclectic group.  Many owners are women or ethnic minorities.  Las Vegas Citylife magazine states, Commercial Center is one of the city’s most quirky, vibrant treasures (January 2009).  Who couldn’t agree more?

Business is booming and one of the reasons, thanks to the new business association lead by Paula Sadler owner of A Harmony Nail Spa.  She has spearheaded numerous revitalizing projects over the past two years that has greatly improved the area and it just keeps getting better all the time.

So to kick the New Year off right the association is sponsoring a spring extravaganza, & community fundraiser to improve the area.  They will have an exciting open house with a variety of events.  Including a raffle, refreshments, music and more.  Special free prizes to the first 100 to arrive at the visitors center E-11A. Please come visit them Friday & Saturday April 17th-18th 9am to 5 pm and join them for a celebration of life.  Experience what everyone is raving about. See ya there!!!
