More than a Crown...A Commitment to the Community!

March 30, 2009 - PRLog -- CROWNING GLORY PRODUCTIONS has crowned two amazing young ladies to represent them at the State Pageant this September and throughout this next year -- The ladies who won the CROWN are: Shauna Libby, Miss Ventura County International 2010 a resident of Somis, whose platform is AYSO and Sejal Thaker, Miss Teen Ventura County International 2010 a resident of Moorpark, whose platform is the March of Dimes!

The pageant was held at Pacifica High School Performing Arts Center where Keri Gushwa produced the show and six judges saw each of the 15 participants in a 40% interview, 20% Fun Fashion, 20% Fitness and 20% Evening Gown.  This pageant differs from all others in that community service is a large portion of their score and mandatory to perform at least once per month.

It was the fourth year for Crowning Glory Productions to hold their pageant.  Hilary Gushwa, Miss California International 2009 was the Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening.  Dr. Bruce Colell added a touch of elegance by playing the beautiful grand piano throughout several parts of the competition.

State Executive Producer, Dennis Cooke, was in attendance, as well as visiting dignitaries who watched the tough competition in each category.  Bronwyn Callero was honored with the Jr. Miss Conejo Valley International 2010 title.  1st runner up for the Miss category was Alexa Koff of Oak Park and the 1st runner up in the Teen division went to Lindsey Goodwin of Moorpark, with the 2nd runner up in the Teen division going to Kelli Scarangello of Thousand Oaks.
