April 4, 2009 - PRLog -- Syncrony Website design have recently designed and developed a new website for the specialist South African inbound Tour Operators, Travelinsouthafrica.net.  The company offers a wide range of tour packages for world class sporting and other events that take place in Southern Africa.  Clients are met at Oliver Tambo International airport in Johannesburg, transferred in luxury vehicles to their hotels and then take to a number of events.  On their “off days” between fixtures guests have the option of choosing which of the multitude of South Africa’s varied attractions they wish to visit.

These could include a bicycle tour of Soweto, sighting the Big 5 animals in a world class game reserve, whale watching in Hermanus, tasting fine wines in Stellenbosch, catching a ferry to Robben Island, former home of Nelson Mandela or choosing diamonds after a unique tour at the famous Cullinan Mine near Pretoria. Whatever interests guests may have, there is definitely something for everyone, in this “world in one country”.

Says Robert Wilson, CEO of Travel in South Africa. Net, “Working with Syncrony has been a rewarding learning experience. Compared to our last website design catastrophe, this has been a breath of spring air.  All in all the total time from conception to going live was only about six weeks, compared to our previous experience of around two years!”

With a full program of events scheduled for the build up to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010, it was imperative to get the site functional as soon as possible.  The recently relocated Indian Premier League Tournament begins on 18 April and the British Lions Rugby Tour of SA kicks off on 30 May.  Then of course there is the curtain raiser to next year’s soccer, the FIFA 2009 Confederations Cup, which takes place at four venues in South Africa from 14 – 28 June.

The abundance of upcoming events put extreme pressure on the site developers, but Syncrony came through with flying colors.

“I have very confidence that the site will help with the job of signing up potential visitors to South Africa in a professional manner which reflects the culture of our business,” says Wilson.

The website was designed by Syncrony http://www.syncrony.com and can be accessed at http://www.travelinsouthafrica.net.
