Suntrica Solar Chargers Donated to Earthquake Region in Italy

April 14, 2009 - PRLog -- Electricity is close to non-existent in the area hit by earthquake. The majority of cellular base stations in the region continue to work thanks to their power back-ups. However, people from the Italian Civil Protection Agency who are working on the rescue operation could not communicate once their phone batteries had been used.

The 200 chargers were manufactured for Suntrica by Laukamo Oy and shipped by DBSchenker, Suntica's logistics partner on Thursday the 9th April. All three companies provided the chargers and their services free of charge. www.laukamo.fi and www.dbschenker.com
