Frakes said, "Performance Dodge is the second dealership in the country to have the Red Demon on their floor." While the economy has slowed auto sales nationally, "we see dealerships that are open to presenting the George Barris designed cars as way to generate new business by offering customers a true Kustom". Josh Abraham of Performance Dodge said "the car definitely draws a crowd, some love it - some think it's over the top, but in the end we can offer them something that our competitors simply can't a Challenger unlike any other on the road", said Abraham, who indicated that they have a customer already looking at custom ordering a car. Frakes indicated that the cars can be Kustomized by adding or subtracting so many of the iconic George Barris design elements, like the 3D Carbon Fiber Rally Stripe, Air Ride system or Vertical Doors". Frakes said, "customers can also add Turbo Chargers on the V6 or SuperChargers on the V8 HEMI throwing over 550hp to the rear wheels". Production started at Sanderson’s Pilot Point Texas facility in November 2008. Prices range from the $60,000 range to a loaded Red Demon at around $150,000. Each car goes through a complete re-paint with two tone paint and triple pin strips, Kustom wheels, with other unique standard and optional equipment.
