April 16, 2009 - PRLog -- The centre engagement workshops will take place at the AAT’s annual conference being held at the Marriot Hotel, Gosforth Park, Newcastle on 24th April 2009.

For the first time, the conference will provide a hands-on workshop for delegates wishing to try out AAT’s range of e-Assessments, created and delivered using BTL‘s Surpass e-Assessment solution.  Delegates attending these workshops will be able to experience the e-Assessments from both a centre and candidate perspective. There will be three workshops held during the conference, all of which are now fully booked.

Che Osborne, BTL Commercial Director, explains ‘BTL is proud to be associated with the AAT centre engagement activity, and we will be on hand to support the workshops.  The AAT’s e-Assessments include many innovative and simulation based items that provide candidates with a more valid testing experience than the previous multiple choice items’.

Nina Williams, AAT e-Learning & e-Assessment Manager states “We are delighted to continue our e-Assessment developments with BTL and will be showcasing our innovative question items at our annual conference. We are very pleased with the solutions BTL have provided to complex issues that enable AAT to provide e-Assessments at levels 2 and 3 of our qualification. e-Assessments provide a more flexible exam process and we are confident that e-Assessments will become the preferred choice of exam delivery for centres.”
