Senet is a 3D virtual game for 2 players which combines both strategy and luck. The game is a tight race to the very end, as each player attempts to be the first to empty their set of seven pieces off the board by obtaining the right number, swapping pieces and blocking the path of their opponent.

It appears that Senet began as a simple game popular across all ancient Egyptian social classes and later acquired a symbolic, ritual function. Senet boards were often placed in the grave alongside other useful objects for the journey to the afterlife and the game is referred to in the Book of the Dead. The game was a favorite one of the boy king Tutankhamen.

The actual rules of the game are unknown, as no instructions document have yet been found. "This new version of Senet draws on generally accepted rules with a few additions to make it even more challenging", said Ben Morales-Correa from All-About-Egypt.com. "The original ancient Egyptian game of Senet was played with sticks or knucklebones. In this modern version, with the press of a virtual button the player obtains a number that determines how far the pieces move across the board", he added.
