Protecting Trade Secrets; Free Podcast Series Available

April 23, 2009 - PRLog -- For many companies, large and small, maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information and trade secrets is the key to maintaining a competitive edge.  A recent study and anecdotal information indicate that a high percentage of departing employees take confidential company information with them.  Businesses also commonly exchange confidential information and trade secrets – and put that information at risk -- in exploring and entering into supply, outsourcing and distribution agreements, as well as mergers and acquisitions.  In order to protect themselves, businesses need to understand their rights and obligations with respect to non-disclosure agreements and trade secrets.
