Atlas Copco Philippines supports DOE’s energy conservation initiatives

April 29, 2009 - PRLog -- 150 attendees from different Laguna Technopark locators attended the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Seminar and the Ecoindex Resource Recovery Event at the Laguna Technopark Inc (LTI) Admin Building last 23 April 2009. These events were organized by LTI and conducted by resource persons from the Philippine Department of Energy.

With the Ecoindex tagline “Waste is a resource, waiting to be recovered,” Laguna Technopark locators were encouraged to step up their energy efficiency efforts by showing best examples/experiences of different companies.

George Lapat, Atlas Copco Industrial Air Product Engineer, conveyed the importance of these initiatives by saying, “We were made aware on what we should do. The sharing of best known methods would not only help us in our own energy efficiency campaigns. But more importantly, these tips would also help us help our customers and partners better.”
