About the Author
Joshua Marino is a resident of New York City, fluent in Korean, a member of the Korea Society, an East Asian Studies major and former President of the Korean Students’ Association at St. John’s University. In 2003 he was a Student Ambassador to the Students’ International Peace and Development Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam. In 2004 he went to study abroad at Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. While in Korea he also studied Daehan Gumdo, Hapkido, and earned his 1st Dan black belt in Haidong Gumdo.
