Dine for at "42" for Just $42 !!

May 5, 2009 - PRLog -- “42,” Westchester’s stunning restaurant perched atop The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, is introducing a fabulous new prix fixe Market Special Menu for just $42 per person.  

In addition to enjoying “42’s” spectacular panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline and lower Hudson Valley, guests can indulge in a four-course dinner including soup, pasta, entrée and dessert. Begin with a seasonal soup of the day, followed by gnocchi dish of pistou and ricotta. For your entrée, select pork with soft polenta and and mostarda, chicken with melted leeks and dark truffle jus, or salmon with white wine and capers. For dessert, there’s the decadent chocolate tart with butterscotch pudding and malt ice cream.

Pasta and entrée dishes change weekly and have included rigatocci with a short rib ragout and pecorino, and skate in place of salmon. The Market Special Menu is available for dinner every night.  Beverage costs are additional, as are tax and gratuity.

Last fall, “42” opened its Small Plates menu area that features a selection of casual dining options at lower prices. Coupled with the striking décor of the restaurant and extraordinary views, “42” is quickly becoming one of the hottest new dining options in the New York metro area.

The 200-seat restaurant on the 42nd floor of The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester, is the concept of developer Louis Cappelli and Chef Anthony Goncalves.  Offering New American cuisine, “42” presents a unique dining experience that melds traditional favorites with new and exciting world cuisine techniques. “42” is open Tuesday - Saturday for dinner from 5:00 p.m. Lunch is served Tuesday - Friday from noon - 3:00 p.m. Brunch is served Sunday from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, and traditional afternoon tea service is offered on Sunday, from noon - 3:00 pm. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
