By: PSU Friends of History Starting in the early 1800s and continuing through present times, Asian and Pacific immigrants have played an important role in the development of the United States, making vital contributions which helped to shape American society and technology. Wells Fargo History Museum is a proud partner of this lecture. The Friends of History is the non-profit support group of the History Department at Portland State University. The FOH volunteers present various free educational programs throughout the year including panel discussions, lectures, book signings and the annual Endowed Lecture in History.
