By: Oceanic Consulting “Glasgow has an incredible wealth of talented individuals, Hungama’s Got Talent is the ideal opportunity for those who have not yet found representation in the industry to step on the stage and showcase their abilities. We are looking for Models, Dancers, Singers, and Actors to step forward and perform on stage at the festival. All Talent, The Sonia Scott Agency (www.alltalentuk.co.uk) Sonia Scott and a casting Director Laura Donnelly will judge those auditioning to win a years contract with All Talent, The Sonia Scott Agency. Laura Donnelly is an established Casting Director based Glasgow working both nationally and internationally (www.lauradonnellycasting.com) Hungama’s Got Talent’s 1st round will start at 2pm and run until 4pm – those that are successful in round one will be invited back on to the stage at 6pm for the final showdown, with the overall winner announced at 8pm. Entry into Hungama’s Got Talent is free and open to all ages. Applicants should email their act details to gottalent@quayhungama.co.uk to be considered for entry. Acts are restricted to 5 minutes maximum stage time. Hungama at the Quay: The festival line up… On Stage Entertainment: Classical Bollywood Movies: Sholay and Dilwale Dulhaniya le Jayenge will be playing at the ODEON Springfield Quay throughout the day. Kids Zone: A funfair of rides to entertain children of all ages; AMF Bowling offering discounted rates before 12 noon; face painting. Grown-up Zone (18+): Restricted access to over 18s – Alea Casino will be teaching the art of how to play poker and blackjack. Tchai Ovna tea house will host a Sheesha tent with a range of flavoured tobaccos. Stalls: A treasure trove of stands from mehndi artists, jewelry and clothes stalls, to airbrush tattoo artists. Food Zone: Delicious delights for the taste buds will be available from the Quay’s resident restaurants, including Nandos and Panda. Food tasters available. “Hungama at the Quay is a kaleidoscope of multicultural sparkling splendour; East meets West in an explosion of enticing colours, sounds and scents.
