59 Ministers To Be Inducted Tomorrow

May 30, 2009 - PRLog -- The UPA government has decided to induct 14 Cabinet ministers, 38 ministers of state and 7 ministers of state with independent charge in the next expansion on Thursday.

The prominent Congress leaders who have been left out are Arjun Singh, Sis Ram Ola, Shivraj Patil and Hansraj Bharadwaj.

Sources said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has recommended the following 59 names to the President for inclusion in his Council of Ministers.

The decision was arrived at a meeting between Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh.

Sources said the prime minister has spoken to all ministers dropped from the previous UPA Cabinet. They have been assured they will be accommodated as governors or in government departments.
