British Heart Foundation benefits from a double prize win!

June 3, 2009 - PRLog -- The British Heart Foundation have been nominated as recipients of dual prize competition run by HEXUS.net, the online PC technology resource in association with technology e-tailor Misco. In an unusual give away, the competition prize was TWO Acer Extensa 5630 laptops, win one, and give one away to a nominated charity of choice.  

Upon receiving the Acer Extensa 5630 laptop, Ian Stewart Fundraising and Volunteer Manager at the British Heart Foundation (BHF) said, "We are extremely grateful to Misco and Naveen Mattoo from Ipswich, the competition winner, who chose the BHF as the beneficiary charity of the Acer laptop. We will use this laptop as a prize in either a raffle or charity auction to raise money for the charity and our fight against heart disease, the UK's single biggest killer."

The laptop was presented by Sandy Price, Misco UK General Manager who commented, ‘It’s very rewarding to be able to donate such a prize to a very worthy cause which no doubt touches most of us in one form or another during our life time’.
