Mariannhill Missionaries in U.S. Make Foray into YouTube World

The Mariannhill Missionaries, based in Dearborn Heights, MI, have just launched a channel on YouTube. Its first video features an interview with its vocation director.

June 9, 2009 - PRLog -- Parts of Africa, the whole Muslim world and all of China are places where the Mariannhill Missionaries need to be, according to Fr. Vergil Heier, Vocation Director of the congregation, which has its U.S. headquarters in Dearborn Heights, MI.
Fr. Vergil announced the promotion of its first YouTube video for the American provinces of the congregation. Two minutes long, the video portrays pictures of the community’s founder, Abbot Francis Pfanner, and an interview of Fr. Vergil explaining why men are needed for the congregation’s work.
