Avery Watts Music Video “Our World” Directed By Neel Upadhye

June 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Scheduled for a late summer 2009 release, the video has found DVD distribution internationally through the motion picture Jezebeth. Watts ’ video will appear in the motion picture and as a special “exclusive video” on the DVD. Film directed by Damien Dante. The "Our World" video will be helmed by visionary director Neel Upadhye. "I was attracted to the project because Avery's song rises above the negativity and meaningless violence seen so often in popular music," he says. "It's aggressive, but it's positive aggression. I'm playing with that exact dichotomy in the video- a narrative that turns people's expectations of the genre upside down." Neel Upadhye's latest film, a supernatural drama "Dim Light" is also scheduled for a summer 2009 release. "It's going to be an insane summer working on both projects simultaneously. 'Dim Light' is less than a month from being finished and the movie's already exceeding my expectations," says the writer/director. "Papillon Entertainment is stepping up in a big way to make sure the film gets in front of the right people. It's looking like a great partnership." Papillon Entertainment’s President, Michelle Coutois and director Neel Upadhye both expressed confidence that this collaboration will bring a future of video music awards, more red carpet events and cinematic/creative recognition for the team. Both have confirmed that this is only the beginning of more artistic endeavors as they look to combine their visual and auditory talents.

Neel Upadhye’s recent credits include lead editor on a horror comedy short starring Seth Rogen (Observe and Report) and director/editor on trailers for EA's video games Dragon Age: Origins and Red Alert 3 with talent such as Tim Curry, Marilyn Manson, & George Takei.
