By: Jacqueline Foreman When asked why a radio show about mental health would air a live musical event of this caliber, Your Mental Health Talk Radio’s host Jacqueline Foreman had this to say, “After the death of my son in January 2000 only three things helped to pull me out of the deepest, darkest depression I have ever known: prayer, meditation and music. Music has the ability to heal so many things including depression, bereavement, anxiety and a host of other disorders.” Ms. Foreman began airing Your Mental Health Talk Radio three years ago, and at that time paid for the air time herself. She began airing for free on Blogtalkradio in March 2007. Guests have included New York Times best-selling authors Raymond Moody, Dr. Daniel Amen, Suzy Welch and Dr. Barry Sears. Other guests have been comedic legend George Wallace, actress Kirsten Vangsness star of the popular CBS drama Criminal Minds, daytime television stars Martha Byrne and Paolo Seganti, actress Keisha Knight Pulliam (June 24th) and actress Danica McKellar (August 13). Her shows can also be listened to and downloaded on iTunes. # # # Your Mental Health Talk Radio is a program hosted by Jacqueline Foreman. It deals with mental health issues and illness as well as the stigmas attached to people who suffer from various forms of mental illness. Your Mental Health Talk Radio covers topics as varied as divorce, saving a marriage, depression, anxiety as well as living your best life.
