The Canada Pavilion at the 2009 Calgary Stampede offers interactive play and learn

The Canada Pavilion, located in Exhibit Hall A of the BMO Centre, is the flagship of the federal government, and a treasure chest of hands’ on fun at this year’s Calgary Stampede. Informative and interactive displays representing ten federal departments offer a glimpse of what our government is doing to preserve our unique culture while enhancing the health and well-being of Canada’s people, environment and economy.

Canada’s Capital Salute to Winter provides a virtual experience of the Rideau Canal Skateway, plus interactive stations celebrating famous landmarks and treasures.

The Canada Pavilion plays a key role in helping the government of Canada address the information needs of Canadians with the Canada Site Canada.gc.ca, the toll free information number 1 800 O-Canada, and the Service Canada Centres.
