July 1, 2009 - PRLog -- CHARITIES BENEFIT FROM THE POSTAL REVOLUTION

The current revolution in the postal service can make a big difference to charities looking to reduce their overheads. One company, Docmail, which already offers significant savings over standard Royal Mail postage, has just launched a special offer for registered charities where they can send up to 250 letters for free.

“With post still a critical means of contact with members and contributors, preparing and posting appeals and newsletters can put a huge strain on resources, particularly in smaller organisations,” says Dave Broadway, managing director of CFH Total Document Management, creators of Docmail.

Docmail is a low-cost mail solution that allows customers to compile and send post direct from their desktop. One of the simplest, most user-friendly online mail facilities to use, there’s no software to install; all that’s needed is a computer with internet access and a web browser.

The system allows you to upload a Word document and any PDFs you want to include in your mailing, enter an address or upload a list onto the online database, and then simply click the mouse for Docmail to print, personalise, enclose and post, with no limits on quantity or destination. The standard service starts from just 25 pence per letter.

The special offer allows charities using Docmail for the first time to send up to 250 personalised letters for free.   Charities wishing to take up this offer should email their registered charity number to docmailsupport@cfh.com, or visit www.cfhdocmail.com/charities/

Docmail also operates a Referral programme for charities. Every time someone a charity has referred uses Docmail, the charity receives a credit on their Docmail postal account, thus allowing them to get further cost reductions on postage.

Docmail was the first online mail solution to reach the market over four years ago. Since then, Docmail has developed to meet the needs of the wider market, and over the last twelve months has been successfully growing its customer base to businesses, organisations and members of the public.

Accredited to ISO27001, CFH Total Document Management prints, encloses and sorts all Docmail items at its APACS secure site. Mail is distributed via its own downstream access facility before the final mile delivery by Royal Mail.
