Ecotek Lighting Installs Brilliant Backlit Light Boxes At SKECHERS Store in Manhattan Beach, CA

July 8, 2009 - PRLog -- EcoTek Lighting, a division of Expotrans, Inc., announced the development and installation of innovative light boxes for SKECHERS in Manhattan Beach, California.  The unique aspects of the beautiful SKECHERS light boxes in Manhattan Beach are that they are two-sided for display visibility inside and outside the store.  The challenging aspect of this project was to place the light boxes as close to the front windows as possible, but still allow access for frequent graphic changes.  To solve this problem, EcoTek Lighting manufactured the light boxes so they would pivot on a center axis, enabling store personnel to rotate the light boxes, allowing access to change the graphics and panels, and clean the store windows in front of the box.

The advanced engineering design of the SKECHERS light boxes provides excellent light diffusion, and the all-welded construction of the extruded aluminum frames ensures premium product durability. The light boxes offer sleek, contemporary styling, built-in suspension systems, solid state construction, and meet ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards for performance and luminosity. The SKECHERS light boxes are manufactured completely from American parts in EcoTek Lighting’s state-of-the art green manufacturing plant in Lake Forest, California, and are tested by the Underwriter’s Laboratories, Inc. (UL) to assure that they meet national electrical safety codes and C-UL standards.
