Follow on Google News | Baltimore Fashion Week receives a voice overKeith Scott will be the commentator for Baltimore Fashion Week 2009
By: Butterfly Productions | Baltimore Fashion Week “Mr. Scott was referred to Butterfly Productions, by a local Examiner reporter, Carrie Oleynik the Baltimore Style Examiner. Mr. Scott has the voice that any commentator would die for. I was, but I wasn’t surprised to hear that he also does voiceovers. Ms. Oleynik, thought Mr. Scott would be a good fit for Baltimore Fashion Week, so she forwarded an email to us, and you know what I am glad she did. And the fit was like a hand in glove”, stated Sharan Nixon, CEO of Baltimore Fashion Week. “In his profession as President, of the Small Business Resource Center, he works with two business counselors to aid clients in establishing or growing their business in Baltimore County. Although, I do not reside, nor is this event held in Baltimore County, we at Baltimore Fashion Week also do the same thing, but we use the event as a catapult for the designers to assist in taking their designer/fashion career to the next level, stated Nixon. Mr. Scott grew up in Ellicott City and received his bachelor degree in political science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is currently pursuing his MBA from Frostburg State University. “I am honored to be chosen for such a significant opportunity. Developing this creative and innovative industry truly adds to the artistic opportunity for fashion designers to showcase their talents in the Baltimore area,” stated Keith Scott. “I think this year the voice that he provides as a commentator for this year’s production will be absolutely phenomenal. I am sure the audience will be pleased. It is true that normally during fashion weeks in New York and abroad they do not have commentators because each designer has his/her own tent to showcase in. Soon Baltimore Fashion Week will have its own tent too, but since Baltimore is not at that level yet, we (my business partner and I) thought that it would be an added slice of creative professionalism” Come, witness, and hear this voice of our own, your own Kevin Scott as he introduces the fabulous fashion on Baltimore Fashion Week’s sophisticated runway. Tickets are available online via the website www.baltimoresfashionweek.com. # # # Baltimore Fashion Week, Baltimore’s Fashion Week, LLC, the city’s annual premier fashion showcase, is managed by the event team of Butterfly Productions.
