Woman Called "Ugliest Woman" Has Had Enough; Partnering with TV News Anchor to Spread Message

Lizzie Velasquez has a rare disorder that doesn’t allow her to gain weight.  She’s never weighed more than 65 pounds.  But Lizzie has had enough.  The 20-year-old college student is using Motah as a platform to get the word out: she’s no different than anyone else.
Motah (slang for “motivate” and pronounced MODA) is a multi-media website that broadcasts positive stories about real people.  It is the brainchild of longtime Fox News Anchor Cynthia Lee.  Within four months of its launch, Motah garnered more than one million hits worldwide.
   “My aspirations in life are to be an inspirational speaker to not only share my story but to inspire other people to never give up.  Living with the condition I have, life has thrown many hurdles my way and I've learned how important it is to keep my head held high and keep fighting through each day.  My number one goal with all of this is to help other people. As long as I can make a difference in at least one person’s life, I'd feel like my goal is accomplished,” said Lizzie.
“Lizzie is such a beautiful person.  I knew as soon as I met her there was something special about her. She has an incredible energy and an inviting personality. It made me really sad to think of the heartache she's been through and it also made me very determined to take a stand for her,” said Lee.
