Easternpak Retains GMP & BRC Certifications

July 13, 2009 - PRLog -- (Ajaltoun, Lebanon) – Easternpak Ltd. has successfully completed repeat audits for International Good Manufacturing Practice GMP for Corrugated & Solid Board and British Retail Consortium (BRC / IOP) certifications.

Easternpak originally received the certifications during 2007. The corrugated packaging plant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia is also Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) certified and ISO 9001:2000 accredited by CERT/TUV in Germany.

Easternpak General Manager, Pierre Akl, shares,

Easternpak produces pre-print kraft paper rolls for corrugated converters, as well as corrugated boxes for a range of industries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

BRC Global Standards suite of four industry-leading technical standards specify requirements to be met by organizations to enable the production, packaging, storage and distribution of safe food and consumer products.
