July 14, 2009 - PRLog -- Comerica is one of twenty largest banks nationwide and is headquarted in Dallas, Texas. Alpine Roofing Construction has completed the roofing construction of the Comercia Bank located off of Beltline in Richardson, Texas.

Comerica's banking branches have specific standards and require a custom roofing system. These custom standards are set and met with every new branch structure built. Comerica requires 22 gauge sheet metal and all of their standing seam roofs are to be the custom color Lead Cote.

At first glance, Comerica's roof looks like a standard standing seam roof, but unlike others, it is a 22 gauge Berridge sheet metal. Most roofs are constructed with 24 gauge sheet metal. This 22 gauge was specially ordered from Berridge Manufacturing Company. Berridge has to stop their regular production line in order to manufacture this custom sized metal. Further more, the 22 gauge sheet metals are thicker then the standard 24 gauge. Because of the thickness, the construction and fabrication of this roof requires a specialist in roofing construction. Although an extremely difficult roof to construct, it does make for a hail resistant roof.
