Dance Teacher Qualification extended - CDTT announces new 3 day Dance Teacher Training Course

July 29, 2009 - PRLog -- The new course, which will focus on the delivery of safe, effective street dance classes for beginners, will run in November on 6-8th in London and is open to all potential teachers with prior dance experience.

Speaking of the extension of the current course, director Ainhoa Rey said, “The CDTT course is very comprehensive. We cover a lot of material from organising and planning sessions all the way through to delivery of classes and how to set up your own dance classes. To fit all of this into a 2 day course is sometimes too much, so we’ve taken the decision to extend our course so that students can really see the benefits of the larger syllabus. In addition to this practical session, students must also complete a 1 month theory section beforehand, unless they already have an Exercise to Music qualification.”

Based on street dance at beginners level, the dance teacher qualification gives students a background in teaching dance and is not performance biased. However, all interested candidates should have dance experience and be confident with choreography and street dance.
