National Inventors Month: Dane Scarborough revolutionizes the toy industry

BELOIT, Wis.—Thomas Edison, one of the most famous inventors of all time, once said, “To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk.” Dane Scarborough, inventor of Patch Products popular construction toy, ÜberStix™, took that statement to heart.

At the onset of National Inventors Month, Patch Products would like to recognize Dane Scarborough, for his creativity, passion and breakthrough in the construction toy industry.

Dane’s invention, ÜberStix, puts a unique twist on construction building toys. National Inventors Month is an event meant to raise awareness for the ingenuity and creativity of inventors. This month is sponsored by several organizations, including United Inventors Association of the USA, Inventors’ Digest and the Academy of Applied Science.
