Hifonics Introduces New Brutus BRZ Subwoofers

Aug. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Brutus has earned a reputation in the industry for producing some of the most efficient and loudest Subwoofers in its class. And now, the Power from the Gods granted a new Brutus Subwoofer Series with the all the reliability and power expected from Hifonics.

According to Vice President of Sales, Ted Henricks, “The new Brutus BRZ Subwoofers will help our customers expand on an extremely popular and highly-respected series with the launch of three new models featuring the latest technologies.”

One significant technology is Hifonics innovative dual spider spacing design that separates the two spiders to maximize excursion outward and inward while maintaining optimal control. The result is an astonishing increase in SPL output and strength plus robust sound year after year.

Other notable features include the durable rubber surround for long excursion while the heat-dispersing ported nickel-plated back plate and ultra-rigid stamped steel basket ensure reliability and strength. Furthermore, the integrated spider-tinsel lead design and nickel-plated push and insert speaker terminals keep the amps energy focused within the speaker’s core.

Dual 4-Ohm configurations offer flexibility in 12” and 15” round and 12” square sizes ideal for sealed or ported enclosures. Powerful bass reproduction is rated at 1200 W Maxx and 600 W RMS with an MSRP from $280-$300.
