Sky News Presenter Steve Dixon Appoints Indigo Cow To Manage PR

Aug. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Sky News Presenter Steve Dixon has appointed Brighton based PR consultancy Indigo Cow to represent him and run a coordinated PR campaign.  Steve is one of the lead anchors on Sky News where he presents the flagship programme Sky News at Ten and regularly covers Dermot Murnaghans’ Sky News Today weekday programme.

Steve has worked at Sky News for ten years, previous to which he worked or ITN, both as a presenter, reporter and producer for news on ITV, Big Breakfast, NBC Superchannel and the then brand new Channel 5.  Steve was the first newsreader in the world to inform of the 7 July 2005 London bombings.

Indigo Cow consultancy directors Vicky Stoakes and Karina Aguirre will be representing Steve and targeting lifestyle media to raise his profile.  Steve is a self-confessed science-fiction fanatic and also freely admits to having an unhealthy obsession with anything technological. Steve also is one of the most high profile people in the UK to have type 1 diabetes and he works closely with a number of charities and companies in the healthcare arena.  Steve has gathered a large fan base since working for Sky and hopes through a managed PR campaign to work with more companies and organisations that are close to his heart.
