Aug. 31, 2009 - PRLog -- Price's Yacht Canvas is celebrating it's 22nd anniversary. In 1987, Steve and Sandy Price established the company in St. Michaels, MD to provide reliable service in custom canvas products. Over the years they have provided biminis, dodgers, enclosures, and cushions for boats at many of the area's boat yards, boat builders, and dealers such as Oxford Boat Yard, Dickerson Harbor, Composite Yacht, Matthews Brothers, Campbell's Bachelor Point, Campbell's Town Creek Boat Yard and many others.
The company has also outfitted many of the popular brand-name power and sailboats with custom canvas. The Prices' expertise and close attention to detail has won them awards from Chesapeake Bay Magazine's "Best of the Bay" in 1993, 2004, 2007, 2008, and an award from the Industrial Fabrics Association International.
In 1995, they expanded their business to the web with PYC Awnings, which provides do-it-yourself homeowners with custom made and affordable window and door awnings along with porch valances, porch roller curtains, and patio umbrellas.
