DesktopLive is truly international

Sept. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- ENS Ltd, a PR firm that uses DesktopLive, has opened an office in Sydney, Australia.

Although the antipode (opposite side of the planet) is actually a small group of islands just off New Zealand, it's pretty close.  As we say in our marketing, "DesktopLive can be used from anywhere in the world with a broadband connection".  Hardly remote - but a very long way away.

Managed Networks now has clients around the world, all connecting to our datacenter and getting a full desktop environment without the capital expenditure involved in building a server infrastructure and purchasing the licensing involved.

DesktopLive is a hosted solution, using Citrix XenApp and Microsoft Terminal Services, to deliver to users an environment indistinguishable from a local implementation.  The desktop can be accessed from anywhere in the world with a broadband connection, meaning users can work from the most convenient and the most productive locations and still be able to do everything they could if they were sitting at their desk.
