Sept. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Fresh off their Underground Music Award victory for Most Original Group, Hip Hop stoners the Ashy L Bowz are back at it again. After the successful release of their marijuana inspired mixtape, "Going Green" gained them national exposure as well as runner up in the HighTimes.com battle of the Unsigned Bands and a coveted performance at the High Times Magazine 420 party, the group returns with the mixtapes sequel "Going Green^2: 808's & Smoke Breaks".

The music and artwork are not only weed inspired but also take cues from Kanye West's platinum selling album "808's and Heartbreak". On the disk the group takes their already off the wall style even further. Whether you smoke marijuana or not the Ashy L Bowz make the music, lyrics, flows and song concepts enjoyable to even the soberest of Hip Hop Fans. It is alleged that the group recorded and mixed the cd in less than 48hrs, taking chronic "prescription" breaks at the completion of each song.  

"Luv my Weed" the first single from "Going Green^2: 808's & Smoke Breaks" is currently featured on leading rap site AllHiphop.com and getting great reviews. Along with the mixtape the group released commemorative t shirts  for sale on their 4/20 site (http:// www.GoingGreen420.blogspot.com) as a bonus to fans. The mixtape itself is free for download, however a physical cd will be mailed with every t-shirt purchase.
