Award-Winning LRM Interior Design at Pelican Hill Wine Event

Sept. 17, 2009 - PRLog -- Next Saturday, don't miss your chance to experience the skill and flair of Lisa McDennon, principal of Orange County’s award-winning LRM Interior Design.
Celebrate California Wine Month at The Resort at Pelican Hill, in Southern California's Newport Coast, while exploring the work of Orange County's top designers, including Lisa Rachelle McDennon. The exclusive event will feature four of the most elite wineries in California and will be held at sunset so that guests can enjoy the 180° views of The Resort at Pelican Hill and Crystal Cove's stunning coastline.
In addition to the winetasting event, The Resort will open three private villas to hold "Winemaker Dinner," each accommodating 20 people. The private dinners will be catered by one of Orange County's best restaurants that will prepare food to pair with a winery's finest selections.
How did LRM Interior Design get involved? Lisa McDennon received a call from Taylor Moody, of International Wine Ventures, who knew Lisa's sterling reputation and thought she would be a perfect designer to showcase at the event. After describing the winetasting event, Lisa decided to decorate one of the niches in the hotel lobby. There are two niches: one will be left as is, while the other will be decorated by LRM Interior Design, in order to show a "before and after" scenario.
Lisa's design vignette will include a piece of art from Laguna Beach's Diana Ferrone Gallery; wallpaper from ROMO fabrics and wallcoverings; window treatments and accent pillows featuring fabric from Kravet, Robert Allen Designs, Beacon Hill Fabrics, Schumacher fabric by Trina Turk; a chaise longue and end table from Robert Spurlock's store called Gina B, located in the Laguna Design Center; a light fixture from Baker Signature Lighting; a Chichester cabinet from the Whitford store in the Laguna Design Center. Many of these companies donated products for LRM Interior Design's use in the event, or, as in the case of ROMO, gave generous discounts.
For over ten years, LRM Interior Design has provided the Orange County and international community with full service residential design, assistance with the selection of architectural details, architect and builder collaborations, functional living spaces and designing custom furnishings.
