Sept. 23, 2009 - PRLog -- ClinicallySignificantProductions.com has announced they will NOT discontinue their hand painted chiropractic art offerings as they had previously considered.   The site sells affordable hand painted chiropractic paintings, spine paintings, and other artwork to the chiropractic community as well as other healthcare professionals.  One might be surprised to discover the reason the company pondered whether to continue the chiropractic art.  "It's not because the paintings aren't selling", Dr. James states.  "In fact, one of the issues is our hand painted spine paintings are almost selling TOO often!", he continued.

Company founder, Dr. James, explains why the future of the beautiful hand painted chiropractic art was recently uncertain.
"We actually considered discontinuing the chiropractic art for a variety of reasons.  One issue was time.  We get a LOT of orders for the art...and doing them by hand is time consuming.  I do most of the work, with limited help.  Between my responsibilities as a single father, and a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic, I was spending a LOT of time on business.  This coupled with some other factors, like increased costs for materials made us wonder whether it was work continuing.  

I maintain a delicate balance of VERY fair prices and high quality.  When our canvas supplier announced our price on canvases was going up...it almost threw a wrench into our chiropractic art plans.  It became evident we would have to either raise prices, or begin using materials of a much lesser quality.  Neither of these ideas aligned with my personal beliefs, or our business philosophy.  I would just assume discontinue the paintings if I had to purchase poor quality materials or overcharge customers to cover our costs.   I'm happy to say we were able to make arrangements with our suppliers to continue purchasing canvas and other supplies at suitable pricing.

We also solved some problems with time management.  Although producting high quality hand painted chiropractic art is always time consuming, we have managed to expand our art studio and redesign the layout.  It's amazing how you can increase efficiency by making some simple changes.  We expanded our studio slightly to give us more room and we reconfigured it entirely to make things easier and faster for us.  We are now able to handle more paintings and have more room for painting and drying"

According to Dr. James the site will continue to offer hand painted chiropracit art and spine paintings in the near future, "We were able to secure a pretty good arrangement with our suppliers and I feel good about the future of our chiropractic art.  When we casually mentioned to some of our past customers that we may discontinue the chiropractic art we were met with a LOT of opposition.   Although it's all time consuming, and not nearly as profitable as one would imagine, I would miss painting and make so many people happy!  It's really cool to know our work is hanging on the walls of hundreds of chiropractic offices throughout the U.S., Canada, and UK.  It's even more satisfying to know we did it all without charging our customers an arm and a leg.
