Retired Wall Street Investment Banker to Head XStream Systems

Board of Directors name James J. Lowery as Chairman and CEO, Brian Mayo as president and CTO and add six new members to Board of Directors.

Sept. 24, 2009 - PRLog -- XStream Systems, Inc. announced today that its Board of Directors appointed James J. Lowrey as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. With this announcement the company also announced that Brian Mayo will serve as President and Chief Technical Officer and named six new members to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Lowrey is a retired investment banker who was employed on Wall Street during the 1970’s at Salomon Brothers in New York, and has since founded several business enterprises including James J. Lowrey & Company, Inc., Catalyst Energy, and Navarro Lowrey, Inc.

Mr. Mayo, the founder of XStream Systems and an expert in network communications and electronics, will serve as President/Chief Technical Officer and serve on the Board of Directors.

During August 2009, six new members were named as Directors to the XStream Board, including Ash Chawla, Dennis H. Ferro, Simon Irish, Joseph Melone, Dr. Edwin Darracott Vaughan, Jr., and Dr. Stuart L. Weinstein.
