The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester Presents Special Culinary Themed Nights at its Beautiful Lounge

Oct. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- Are you in the mood for homemade chili, or perhaps you’re ready to test your bartending skills by creating your own signature cocktail?  Whatever your culinary desires, The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester Lounge is sure to satisfy them with its new themed food and beverage offerings.  The Lounge is featuring a different theme every night from 6 to 9 p.m. with something special to satisfy every palate.

Monday  - Slide into the Week
Slide into the week with The Ritz-Carlton’s Slider Sampler Platter including a delicious selection of Kobe Beef, Buffalo Chicken, Roasted Vegetables, and Sweet Potato Fries.  Pair them with a local seasonal micro-brew or cocktail to complete your small plates meal.

Tuesday  - Shake it Up
If you’ve ever wanted to be a “mixologist,” here’s your chance.  Create your own special cocktail that could be featured as the  “Martini of the Week.”  Contest winners will enjoy their martini free of charge while it’s on the menu.

Wednesday – Spice it Up on a Chilly Night
Heat things up with homemade chili and blue corn tortilla chips, served with hand-crafted pico de gallo, avocado salsa, and chipotle sour cream.  Put out the fire with a flight of chilled Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo super premium tequilas, or a top-shelf margarita.  

Thursday - Roll Into the Weekend
Indulge in the best sushi in Westchester County served by one of the area’s highly-acclaimed sushi chefs. Enjoy a variety of Sakes, Japanese Beers and spirits by the fireplace.

Friday & Saturday – Relax by the Fire
Delight in pre-dinner artisanal cheese selections paired with fine wine.  After dinner, succumb to a delectable display of decadence with our truffles and petit fours for two, paired with two glasses of Roederer Estate sparkling wine, or peruse our a la carte champagne menu.

Sunday – Savor Single Malts
Unwind fireside and enjoy fine single malt from Scotland. Let The Ritz-Carlton staff guide you through the nuances between Highland, Lowland, Island, and Speyside malts.
