Rockland County author Chelle Cordero is participating in Operation EBook Drop

Nov. 12, 2009 - PRLog -- Local author Chelle Cordero is part of the growing list of Operation EBook Drop authors. Operation EBook Drop was created by author Ed Patterson as a means to provide free ebooks for deployed coalition forces personnel; many of the men and women like to read during their scarce free time.

Traditional print books are cumbersome. Innovative ebook reading devices can hold dozens of ebooks but the soldiers were having difficulty downloading some of the available files. Through the use of emailed coupon codes, Cordero, Patterson and hundreds of other authors can offer their ebooks from SmashWords, a multi format ebook publishing and distribution platform.

Chelle Cordero is the author of seven novels: Bartlett’s Rule, Forgotten, Within the Law, Courage of the Heart, Final Sin, Hostage Heart, and A Chaunce of Riches from Vanilla Heart Publishing; there are 16 VHP authors participating in the program. To date Chelle has sent coupon codes for all of her books to 48 service personnel.

Ms. Cordero is a freelance writer whose articles have appeared in various publications including The Journal News, Hudson Valley Magazine, Emergency Magazine, Spotlight, Auto Trim News, EMS Products, Sound Management Magazine, Creator’s News supplements, and more.
