Nov. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Terry Hope announced today the launch of a online raffle draw, for an electric bike with kinetic energy harvesting. THEKPV utilizes the kinetic energy directly from the rear wheel as it turns to provide green power for onboard electronics.

Using the electrical power outlet at your home to recharge a cell phone and electronic devices is usually bad for the environment, and your pocket, unless you get your electrical power from renewable sources.

THEKPV is a response to this problem, providing green power with a small carbon footprint, and doing this while on the move. Additional research and development is ongoing, Donations are needed to increase the efficiency of the design, and provide enough generated power for a range-extended vehicle, however the main goal has been achieved.
