Follow on Google News | InfiNet Wireless Poised to Lead the Market in 4G Backhaul & HD Video Surveillance SolutionsImmediate availability of new low-cost, high-power products for the 4G and LTE backhaul market
By: NSPR With immediate availability, the InfiMAN 2x2 MIMO-based wireless range of solutions now offers higher-performance, integrated base-station units with either 60 and 90 degree dual-polarity sector antennae, as well as the option of a Gigabit Ethernet interface. These new units will also support higher RF transmission power levels up to 200 mW, allowing significantly increased link capacity and coverage, and achieving multiple tens of megabits per CPE connections at distances in excess of 15-20 km. In addition, a new reduced-size (305x305 mm) 21 dBi integrated antenna CPE unit with 35 Mbps net throughput has also been launched with immediate availability. Also with immediate availability, the InfiLINK 2x2 MIMO-based products now benefit from both native Gigabit Ethernet support and an increased 200 mW RF power option, allowing customers to experience 200+ Mbps throughput for both symmetrical and asymmetrical connections across long-haul spans in excess of 20 km. “This product portfolio extension now makes the InfiMAN 2x2 product line perfectly suited for the rapidly-growing HD video surveillance markets,” notes Kamal Mokrani, VP Sales & Marketing for InfiNet Wireless. Additionally, a number of new software features have been implemented across the entire InfiLINK 2x2 range, including a number of new operational administration improvements for Web-based provisioning and maintenance, improved intelligent DFS algorithms, enhanced diagnostic systems and tuning/optimisation features (for example, the ability to identify the optimal piece of licence-exempt available spectrum for maximum performance) “The InfiNet Wireless 2x2 series of products were the first in the world to introduce MIMO technology for Broadband Wireless Access, and set new standards across the industry for throughput, spectrum optimisation and efficiency and system reliability. We have based our new solutions exclusively on the needs and requirements of our leading operator and service provider customers, and so I am very confident that we’re going to hit a home run for both 4G backhaul and HD video surveillance with our new solutions portfolio”, says Robert H. Stubblebine, CEO and President at InfiNet Wireless.
